Fee & Pay Disclaimer
Certain compositions and masters may be deemed un-licensable due to writer, publisher, or estate restrictions. Inclusion of a song in CLEAR100 does not guarantee final clearance for every use case. CLEAR100 acts as supervisor and broker; final clearance authority rests with the rights holders.
Subscription Fees
Clear100 subscription plans are offered on monthly, 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month commitment terms. Your subscription fee grants you access to the Clear100 catalog, search functionality, and licensing inquiry tools in accordance with the usage limits of your selected plan. Subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing cycle has commenced.
Clearance Fees
Single-song clearance services are billed on a per-attempt basis and are separate from your subscription fee. A clearance attempt is counted at the time of submission, regardless of outcome. Clearance fees cover the administrative service of researching, contacting, and facilitating communication with rights holders on your behalf — they do not guarantee a license will be granted.
Licensing Fees
Subscription fees and clearance fees are entirely separate from and do not constitute the licensing fee payable to the rights holder (licensor) for the use of a musical composition and/or master recording. Licensing fees are negotiated independently between the licensee and the applicable rights holder(s) — which may include publishers, performing rights organizations (PROs), record labels, and/or artists — and are paid directly to those parties outside of Clear100. Clear100 is not a party to any licensing agreement and does not collect or remit licensing fees on behalf of any rights holder.
Payment Processing
All subscription and clearance fee payments on Clear100 are processed securely through Stripe. By completing a purchase, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and authorize Clear100 to charge your selected payment method in accordance with your chosen plan. Clear100 does not store your payment card information.
